COMMAND
The Performance Program for Today’s Risk-based Internal Audit Manager
Command is a 16-hour leadership development program that builds Internal Audit Managers to lead with execution, influence, and results — while managing audit work and expectations.
Next program starts on September 16, 2025

Despite being perhaps the most critical role, too many Internal Audit Managers are often under-supported and left to figure things out alone.
They juggle stakeholder expectations, tight timelines, unresponsive customers, and developing team members — all while trying to keep their own careers on track.
Audit delays are frequent, yet leadership still expects on-time delivery.
Review cycles drag on, with little feedback on how to improve.
You’re constantly managing up, across, and down — without a playbook.
Auditors needs coaching, customers need context, and leadership wants another version of the report.
You’re stuck between execution and leadership, with no clear path to the next level.
You’re pulled into the hardest projects, or special ad-hoc activities—without extra time or support.
Most managers learn by trial and error. And while they’re smart, driven, and capable, many are burning out — or getting passed over for promotion — simply because they haven’t been shown what great looks like.
There’s no single trusted source that teaches audit managers how to run projects, lead people, and drive department success — all while building a career with momentum.
Until now.
COMMAND is a 16-hour development incubator, grounded in insights from high-performing audit senior managers, Directors, and leaders. This program delivers the mindsets, strategies, and tools that modern managers need to succeed today — and grow into the leaders Internal Audit needs tomorrow.
You’ll learn how to:
Launch and lead complex audits from scratch
Coach your team without micromanaging
Align and manage stakeholders with confidence
Lead with influence — not just execution
Build a system that makes your promotion more likely, not less
If you’re an Internal Audit Manager ready to step up — or a high-performing Senior preparing for promotion — this is your moment.
Take Command.
If you’re a CAE or Internal Audit Leader:
Don’t wait for your best managers to burn out or plateau.
Enroll them in COMMAND to give them the structure, skills, and support they need to drive your department forward.
What’s Included in the Program:
My goal with COMMAND is to equip internal audit audit managers with the playbook, tools, and mindset to navigate the toughest parts of an internal audit project—and prepare them to step into future leadership roles.
This 16-week learning program includes:
If you are looking for a complete and comprehensive overview on how-to be a high-performing internal audit manager, this is it.
Straightforward, “How-to” Training
Command is focused on providing actionable tactics and strategies across 9 expert-led presentations, 6 cohort roundtable discussions, and up to 15 hours of CPE credits.

I help Internal Audit and SOX professionals uplevel their programs and careers.
A modern and contemporary Internal Audit and SOX Leader doesn’t show up to work to make sure controls are tested or audits completed.
We work with a sense of purpose and urgency to enable positive change in our business - to make it easier for our key stakeholders to win through better risk management and controls performance.
We believe that better controls and better managed risks means better business performance.
And so we strive to maximize the output of our current SOX and Internal Audit responsibilities to help our companies win.
Our community of forward-thinking business leaders is growing. These leaders will win by being experts of their domain, execute sound strategies, and have real-time access to a network of their peers.
